About Me

Like everyone I am a unique individual. For me this is something to celebrate and revel in! I've spent enough time in my life trying to fit in with social norms. Now I prefer to make the most of the talents that I have, enjoying the creativity of my brain and the neverending search for new and interesting knowledge.  Along the way I've learned a lot about myself, and learned to like myself too.

I am artistic, alternative, talkative and a good listener.  I enjoy people, discussion, the spread of ideas.  I love to hear about all the different things that people do, and the different ways that they live.  Most of all I enjoy helping people.

I have over 25 years experience as a Jujitsu instructor. After years spent in office jobs where I mostly tracked stuff on sreadsheets, I retrained as a Hypnotherapist.  It is most fulfilling to actively help clients in such a direct way.  Through my therapy business I discovered many people who just weren't quite coping with life.  From the outside they were fine, but they were spending their time at home simply recovering from the stresses of work and socialising, and were struggling to keep up with the ongoing tasks of taking care of their homes.

So I started helping people out, firstly friends, and then friends of friends.  I went along to tidy, clean and generally help get homes back under control.  Just for fun I initially wore a pink cat-ear headband and so I became known as Kitty Cleaning.  I still use the name Kitty when I'm cleaning, although I don't always wear the ears, mostly because they have bells on which tends to annoy my clients cats.
